My Passion... I am passionate about working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma. I believe each person has a unique story to tell and regardless of how difficult things are; they can have hope for a better present and future. Education and Training... I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Trauma Counseling from Regent University. My studies have provided me an opportunity to learn how to integrate faith with best practices in the counseling field. I attended over 100 hours of VAT online program. I am a trained EMDR therapist which has been proven effective for people of all ages and experiences. Experience... My professional experience has been working with individuals of all ages as well as facilitating classes. My personal experience with trauma has allowed me to have a compassion and understanding for deep hurt. However, I also know that everyone has a different experience. That is why I use and individualized approach with my clients.
